Perth staged its second attempt to break the unofficial world record for kilted runners on Saturday 10th August. Over 1300 kilted runners turned up at the North Inch and completed the 5km course and, although the record of 1700 runners set by Perths twin city, Ontario, in Canada was not reached, their attempt was never registered so it was enough to get them in the Record Books. Our picture shows Office Manager, Louise Crawford, and fellow runner Chris Wallace at the end of the race. For the record Louise ran the distance in a personal best 27.36 and was 27th lady in her category. Well done Louise and all the other kilties.
