BIG NIGHT FOR BIG COUNTY BUSINESSES
THE Graham Environmental Services team had a major part to play in the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce 2017 Star Awards supported by The Binn Group. Around 360 guests drawn from the business community donned their best bib and tucker for the event hosted by the Crieff Hydro. “Our business community really is something to be proud of and that is exactly what the annual event is all about – putting Perth and Kinross on the map. “Crieff Hydro was an amazing venue for this high profile event.”
Ross said: “Going forward, the Chamber will put particular focus on strengthening our links with international Chamber partners and utilising a network with bases in over 180 countries.” “The Chamber team is also working hard on developing the young workforce and this already is having a positive impact across the area. It’s a national initiative designed to give school pupils a more rounded and accurate insight to the world of work and I would urge any business to play their part.”
On the sporting front the Chamber acknowledged Grand National winning trainer Lucinda Russell, European curling medal wins by Eve Muirhead and Kyle Smith – and the success of Blairgowrie’s Bradley Neil, who has stepped up to compete on the European Tour at the age of just 21.
